The Girl’s Network is a not for profit organisation who’s mission is to inspire and empower girls from the least advantaged communities by connecting them with a mentor and a network of professional role models who are women
The Girls’ Network lacked an understanding of how to architect a solution that embodied their vision and mission.
They required an online solution to connect mentors and mentees, schedule and run audio + video sessions, and record feedback.
The system necessarily needed to be secure, safe, easy to use and convenient for both girls and mentors.
CCQ built the web based application around a calendar that mentors and mentees could share and a wider calendar of organisational events. Linked to that, CCQ included functionality for users to provide feedback on every event so TGN could obtain real-time data of how sessions were going. The team worked closely with the client to ensure the solution met their specific needs and limitations.

CCQ’s solution enabled TGN to monitor the impact of the mentoring sessions and make sure we were comfortable with them from a safeguarding perspective.
The app also facilitated mentors and mentees to efficiently and consistently log their sessions in advance. Overall, the solution improved compliance with TGNs expectations.
