Comprehensive energy industry experience and research resulted in the ambitious startup discovering a gap in the market. Consumers and SMEs in the UK were being underserved when it comes to their energy management.

To meet demands for accurate and simple bill reconciliation and a better understanding of energy use (right down to the socket level) Darren put together a board, raised funds and embarked on a software product development.

A first version of the product was built by a 3rd party and the next phase required software development expertise supplied by CCQ.

CCQ leveraged expertise in understanding both business and technical domains to research and propose a new plan.

Initial consultancy to audit software code and create a technology strategy with clear recommendations for development.

Re-coded the product from scratch and added features to meet functional and data visualisation requirements.

A new system was developed, based in part on earlier work, using modern methodology. 

The new Carbon Sure platform has been launched to the market with early success with capital investment raised.
