Challenge
Wave Engineering, a consultancy specialising in refrigeration systems, relied on an Excel workbook to perform complex engineering calculations. While functional, the spreadsheet was difficult to scale, share, and maintain.
The company wanted to explore a digital alternative: a proof-of-concept (PoC) web application that could replicate the workbook’s capabilities online. They also aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the principles of web application development to inform future planning. They wanted a partner who could guide the technical delivery while advising on design choices and long-term feasibility.
Solution
