Unlimited Futures for All Young Women
The Girls’ Network (TGN) is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to inspire and empower girls from the least advantaged communities. By connecting them with a mentor and a network of professional female role models, TGN helps young women achieve their full potential.
Challenge
The Girls’ Network faced challenges in designing a technical solution that aligned with their vision and mission. They required a secure, user-friendly online platform to:
Connect mentors and mentees.
Schedule and conduct audio and video sessions.
Record and review feedback.
The system needed to prioritise safety, security, convenience, and ease of use for both mentees and mentors.
Solution
CCQ developed a web-based application centred around a shared calendar, enabling mentors and mentees to organise their schedules effectively. The system also included a comprehensive calendar for organisational events.
Key features included:
Shared Calendar: Mentors and mentees could easily coordinate and log sessions.
Feedback Functionality: A built-in feedback system allowed users to provide real-time data after each session, helping TGN monitor session outcomes.
Throughout development, CCQ worked closely with TGN to ensure the solution met their specific needs and constraints.

Results
The bespoke solution delivered by CCQ enabled The Girls’ Network to:
Monitor Impact: TGN gained the ability to evaluate mentoring sessions in real time, ensuring alignment with safeguarding protocols.
Streamline Session Logging: The platform allowed mentors and mentees to consistently log their sessions in advance, improving compliance with TGN’s standards.
By providing an intuitive and reliable system, the application enhanced the organisation’s ability to empower young women effectively.
“CCQ really understood the brief. The team took a lot of time to grasp what we wanted from the solution and our limitations. They used that knowledge to design something that really fitted us, looked on-brand, and was user-friendly.”
